Pamela Haig Bartley, MFA’83, reports that, after nearly 30 years of teaching, directing and acting at the University of Saskatchewan, she retired to focus on a freelance career in acting/directing — just in time to crash headlong into the pandemic. While she waits for live theater to return, she is doing yoga, sewing face masks and taking her dogs for long walks. Michael Mail, MJC’83, celebrated the five-year anniversary of the establishment of the Foundation for Jewish Heritage, which he created to help ensure that important Jewish architectural sites, monuments and places of cultural significance in danger all over the world are preserved and re-imagined for a sustainable future. Joyce Pulcini, Heller PhD’87, co-edited a book titled “Advanced Practice Nursing Leadership: A Global Perspective,” published by Springer in March 2020. Christine Pederson, MA’89, is the library media specialist at Middlesex High School, in Saluda, Virginia.
