Ariana Berengaut is a member of President Joe Biden’s National Security Council, serving as senior adviser to the national security adviser. Previously, she was a founding director at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, and served as a speechwriter and counselor in the Department of State during the Obama administration. Daniel Estrin is the co-winner of an Edward R. Murrow Award, one of the most respected honors in journalism, for an NPR “All Things Considered” story that challenged the official U.S. military account of the raid against ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Elissa (Glucksman) and Jay Hyne welcomed a baby boy, Austin Zachary, in August. Austin joins sister Lily (5) and brother Brady (3). The family lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Ava Morgenstern has joined immigration law firm Fragomen in its Washington, D.C., office. Joshua Simmons has been named secretary of the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law section for 2021-22.
