The Neuroscience program is supported in part through a number of competitive National Institutes of Health training grants. Training grants have supported student research in traditional neuroscience, computational neuroscience, brain and behavior, molecular and cellular neuroscience, quantitative biology and dynamical systems.

Students are guaranteed funding, including a stipend of $38,496 (beginning on July 1, 2023), full tuition and health insurance while they are completing their studies and maintaining satisfactory progress towards their degree. Students in years 1-3 are typically funded by university fellowships or training grants, and in years 4+ by their individual lab.
