The following units are mandatory*:
- Digital Accessibility 101: Self-enroll via LATTE
- Introduction to digital accessibility
- Best practices for creating new materials
- Implementing best practices in the CMS (Web editors only)
- Fixing Inaccessible Materials (Choose topics according to your usage, i.e. if you make and/or post PDFs, please take the PDF training)
- Microsoft Word: Self Enroll via LATTE
- PDFs workshop coming soon
*Exceptions available for those who have had equivalent in-person training
Faculty
Class materials are created using a wide range of media from PowerPoint to video, word processing to specialized tools. Best practices for content creation can be applied across all materials, however some content types require specific skills to maximize accessibility. You may sign up for modules as appropriate to your teaching style.
