In June 2014, I was inducted into the International Coaching Federation of New England Hall of Fame. The award honors life coaches who have demonstrated exemplary coaching skills and served as ambassadors to the coaching community, industry and world.

Charles Affron and Mirella Jona Affron published an institutional and performance history of the Metropolitan Opera, “Grand Opera: The Story of the Met,” the first comprehensive history of the company in 30 years. The football facility at Newburyport (Mass.) High was renamed the James T. Stehlin Field at World War Memorial Stadium. James, a Brandeis Athletics Hall of Famer, coached the Clippers from 1964-83, compiling a 126-64-3 record with three unbeaten teams.
