$2,500 Israel Travel Grants for Study, Work, Research or Internship

Apply by March 1st for Summer or Fall 2014 travel! Open to undergraduates in all departments, Frances Taylor Eizenstat ’65 Undergraduate Israel Travel Grants are awarded on a competitive basis through the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies. Design a project, study, research, learn Hebrew, or arrange an internship, in almost any field of interest, including: 

  • Environmental Studies 
  • Business
  • Science
  • Technology 
  • International and Global Studies
  • Social Justice 
  • Archaeology
  • The Arts 
  • Politics
The Frances Taylor Eizenstat '65 Undergraduate Israel Travel Grant Program enables us to support intellectually driven and motivated students and help them to pursue their academic and career goals. We look forward to awarding grants this Spring to outstanding Brandeis undergraduate students for Summer or Fall 2014 travel for study or internships in Israel. Give it a try! 
WATCH INTERNSHIPS: ORGANIZING AND HOUSING ADVOCACY CLINIC
Do you care about promoting social justice in the local community?  You can intern with the organization most dedicated to bettering living conditions for all and empowering those with little voice in decision-making.  WATCH needs a summer Community Organizing intern. See attached description for specific information.  
A second summer Housing Advocacy Clinic Intern is also desired to work as part of a team Mon/Thurs evenings weekly. May be possible in addition to another internship or job. Please contact me if interested:goldin@brandeis.edu., Clinic experience and spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Internship at Rumbleway Farm, Conowingo, Maryland: This free-range, environmentally conscious, organic farm has a summer internship available. They offer education on different parts of sustainable farming, poultry, cattle, etc, as well as a stipend and room and board.  Attached is information on the internship.  In the past they have had students from the University of Maryland, University of Oklahoma, and post-grad adults as well.
