Vincent Lim, Vice President, Financial & Strategic Initiatives

Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the promotion of Vincent Lim to Vice President, Financial & Strategic Initiatives.
Since joining Brandeis five years ago, Vince has been a key partner for academic and administrative leadership in supporting the institution’s priority initiatives. Among his many contributions, these projects have included, in part, managing the university’s Springboard to the Future funding program, collaborative development of the Framework for the Future concept papers, and key representation on the university’s COVID project management team.
Vince will be building on the financial & strategic initiatives role by leading Brandeis' Office of Financial Strategy & Planning (OFSP). This is a new team within Finance & Administration that will further expand the university's financial analysis, strategic planning, and data-driven decision support capabilities.
Importantly, the office will continue growing its collaborations with the many university departments who are making important strides in advancing our institutional priorities and initiatives. This past year, for instance, OFSP team members have worked with the Academy, Admissions, Campus Planning, and Institutional Advancement on strategic projects ranging from graduate program reviews, undergraduate enrollment modeling, Brandeis Online, major capital projects funding (including Science 2A and student residence hall plans), and capital campaign fundraising goals and opportunities.
We look forward to the continued development of the OFSP team and the cross-collaborative role it serves for the university.
