Lockouts

Many students and employees over the course of the year either lock their keys in their rooms or offices or misplace or lose them. Students can, with proper identification, obtain a loaner set of keys from the Department of Community Living, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday.

University police will unlock a student's room from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays. Due to regularly scheduled business or emergencies, the police response to these lockout calls may sometimes be delayed. The community advisor (CA) for each residential area will be available for lockouts while on duty from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. during the academics year.

Employees may contact university police in such situations 24 hours a day at 781-736-5000.
