Lenny Bruce

Dear Brandeis Students,

You have an opportunity to participate in Brandeis University's two-day conference on "Comedy and the Constitution: The Legacy of Lenny Bruce" in the Rapaporte Treasure Hall on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 27-28. Lenny Bruce was the most influential comedian of the mid-twentieth century and played a major, historic role in extending freedom of expression. The $85 registration will be waived for students on a first-come, first-serve basis with ticket pick up at the Brandeis Box Office in the Shapiro Campus Center. Students will be eligible for one ticket with their Brandeis ID. Tickets must be picked up no later than Monday, Oct. 24 by 3 p.m. We have a limited number of student tickets available, so please get your ticket early. Please note that if you do receive tickets, you are not required to attend the entire conference*. You can pick and choose the events you would like to attend to. We do hope you will be active participants in multiple sessions.
