Support Following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma

Friends & Family,

Damage from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma pose tremendous challenges that impact many of us directly, creating both short and long term difficulties. Because of the wide scope of these storms, others, while indirectly affected, may also have new support needs.

And so we write to reiterate our support, and our commitment to your well-being. Whether you are concerned for family members, need to replace materials that were lost, have a new financial situation, are confronting new emotional challenges, or any range of other situations, we are here to help.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to our office and we will connect you with the appropriate team members and support systems.

All of those impacted by these terrible storms are in our thoughts and prayers.  We will continue to maintain a website with ways you can offer your support at http://www.brandeis.edu/studentlife/communityservice/hurricanereliefefforts/.

The Dean of Students Office is located on the second floor of the Shapiro Campus Center and we are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  You can reach the office by phone at 781-736-3600 or email deanofstudents@brandeis.edu. For non-emergencies you can leave a message/send an email after hours and we will get back to you as soon as possible. In an emergency, call the Brandeis University Public Safety Emergency Line at (781) 736-3333

Sincerely,

Jamele Adams, Dean of Students
