Amy Coty writes she enjoyed a coronavirus-inspired Zoom class reunion: “I said I didn’t have many friends during my Brandeis years because I was working off-campus a lot of the time. What was everyone’s response? ‘Well, you do now!’ Absolutely amazing. I have (at last) launched my LLC, called Fund Initiatives. I consult with hedge funds on their fund administration providers.” Stuart Katz, P’22, chairs the litigation and the employment and labor practice groups, and the diversity and inclusion committee at Cohen and Wolf, a 45-lawyer firm in Connecticut. Partners include David Levine ’83, David Ball ’88 and Ari Hoffman ’96. Stuart’s wife, Marni Smith Katz ’90, P’22, is associate director of planned giving at Yale University. Stuart and Marni are the proud parents of Zach ’22 and Ben. Estee Neuwirth and Michael Stein ’86 live in Orinda, California. Estee leads Kaiser Permanente’s design consultancy team. Michael is a digital strategist working with nonprofits at Laguna Creek Consulting. Daughter Rachel attends the University of Oregon. Son Simon is a high-school senior. Wendy Reimer is a divorce mediator and attorney who lives in New York City (and is temporarily hiding out in the Poconos) with her husband, Andrew, and teenage daughters Skylar, Sadie and Sylvie. She reports her biggest support — outside her coronavirus pod — are her two best friends, Hedy Cardozo and Ellen Seidman. Their weekly two-hour Zoom calls are filled with laughter and some shared anxiety, and are a regular reminder of the importance of lifelong friendship. The 2020 Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Business Lawyers recognized Jaclyn Kugell Yezerski, noting her experience in employment litigation and noncontentious matters. Ranked since 2013, she received the highest possible ranking this year.
