In February, former Major League Baseball pitcher Nelson Figueroa was a special guest at Dominican College’s First Pitch Dinner, held for the benefit of the school’s baseball team. Rezo Kanovich, IBS MA’99, is managing director at Artisan Partners, a global investment management firm. In July, Camille Lizarríbar became chief student-affairs officer for the Schools of Arts and Sciences, and Engineering at Tufts University. Previously, she was dean of student affairs at Yale. Amanda (Metter) Pressman, a gastroenterologist in Providence, Rhode Island, holds the title of associate professor, clinician educator, at Brown University’s Alpert Medical School. Noah Shaw has been elected to the board of directors of law firm Hodgson Russ. He joined the firm in September 2019 as a partner, the co-chair of the firm’s renewable-energy practice group, and the co-leader of the cannabis and hemp practice. Donald Zinman was promoted to the rank of full professor of political science at Grand Valley State University, in Allendale, Michigan.
