Sam Vaghar, executive director of the Millennium Campus Network, this year was selected to be the 163rd commencement speaker at Monmouth College, in Illinois. Due to COVID-19, he delivered the speech virtually to the graduates in May. He also received an honorary degree from the college. In 2019, Dmitry Vilner joined Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell, where he practices law with a focus on legal professional liability. He previously served as law clerk to the Hon. Robert D. Hawthorne and the Hon. Diana L. Terry. Rebecca Wasser joined the Center for a New American Security as a fellow in the defense program. Her research areas include war-gaming, force posture and management, and U.S. defense strategy. Harley Yanoff has founded Broadway From Home, a virtual theater workshop company hosted on Zoom. Founder and owner of Topnotch Events, an event catering and staffing business in New York City, he began his new venture after experiencing event cancellations in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
