In May, Viktoria Bedo was featured in The New York Jewish Week’s 36 Under 36 list of emerging leaders. She is a full-time graduate student at the Jewish Theological Seminary and serves as the rabbinic intern at Park Avenue Synagogue. Elizabeth Chalfin graduated from Boston University with a Master of Public Health, which includes a concentration in health policy and law. Kristina Pisarik and Gregory Bray were married on June 26. They met before their first year at Brandeis began, when they both arrived on campus early to start the cross-country preseason. Riley Sandberg was awarded a Fulbright Research grant for work in the talking robots group at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. She will study how social robots can provide one-on-one second-language lessons to migrant and native German-speaking children.
