After several years in the performing arts and working in financial services, Abby Armstrong began MBA studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School this fall. Gila Golder and her husband, Robert ’09, live in Memphis, Tennessee. She writes, “I have a toddler and an infant, so, like many others, I spent a few months juggling child care and work responsibilities from home during the pandemic. On June 1, my office reopened, and so did my children’s day care. On June 30, I was laid off. Now I’m actively job searching with one-on-one assistance from the Hiatt Career Center. I’m also helping my husband with his law firm and revisiting hobbies I haven’t had time for since my kids were born. And I’ve picked up some shifts at a local kosher caterer — a little extra income plus free food!” Ilana Pomerantz graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology after completing her internship year at Elmhurst Hospital, in Queens. Amanda Reuillard and Austin Peña were married on Oct. 5, 2019. They met at Brandeis in 2010.
