M. Caitlin Fisher-Reid has become an associate professor with tenure in the Department of Biological Sciences at Bridgewater State University, in Massachusetts. Sarah Kaplan and Jason Springer of Voorhees, New Jersey, welcomed their second son, Adam David (Yaakov David), on March 4. Adam is named after Jason’s paternal grandfather, who survived Dachau, and Sarah’s living maternal grandmother. He joins big brother Brandon. Sophia Mendelsohn has been appointed vice president of sustainability and environmental social governance at JetBlue. She has worked with JetBlue since 2013 to reduce the company’s environmental impact, including lowering carbon dioxide emissions from jet fuel. Emily Loubaton Tedeschi welcomed son Julian Gordon on Jan. 28. He joins big sister Alma Bria, who is 3.5 years old.
