Alexander Mitchell, MS’17, has entered an MD/PhD program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Troia Reyes-Stone was named a Marshall Scholar this year. She will pursue a Master of Science in evidence-based social intervention and policy at Oxford University, and a Master of Public Policy at the London School of Economics. Munis Safajou attends Texas A&M University School of Law. In July, in a piece published on Medium.com, she wrote about being an international student in light of recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement regulations. “Being a Wien Scholar was the biggest and best part of my Brandeis experience,” she reports. Tremaine Smith has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Sri Lanka. After his Fulbright year, Tremaine intends to pursue a joint JD/MA in international affairs and hopes to work with the U.S. Department of State in the area of cultural and educational programming.
