Jason Breitkopf’s first book, “Hacking the SAT: Tips and Tricks to Help You Prepare, Plan Ahead and Increase Your Score,” was published in August. Adam Falcone is a member of the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, serving on its community relations council. His husband, Matthew, serves on the board of the couple’s synagogue, Rodef Shalom. Daughter Fiorella, age 5, is a kindergartner at the University of Pittsburgh’s Falk Laboratory School. Younger daughter Giovanna is 2. The Los Angeles Business Journal gave Justin Goldstein its LA500 Award in recognition of his work as a lawyer. Over the course of her career, Jacqueline Pravda has been a director of college counseling, a dean of students and a college admissions officer. Now she works independently, remotely supporting students and their families through high school and toward college placement. She reports she enjoys reconnecting with Brandeis alumni and guiding their children to college. Larissa Ruiz Baia became a member of New Hampshire’s Granite United Way board of directors in February. Sara Shapiro-Plevan co-founded the Gender Equity in Hiring Project, which is working to remove gender bias from hiring and employment processes in Jewish organizational life, and helping women rise to positions of leadership. Sara’s coaching and consulting practice, Rimonim Consulting, focuses on building flatter, more networked organizations and reducing organizational hierarchies. She lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with her husband and 15-year-old son, who, she reports, will be looking at colleges soon and will be “required” to visit Brandeis.
