Penny Peirez Abrams reports, “I have accepted it is OK to just sit and do nothing. From my magic chair that puts me upon my feet, I can look out into my yard, where I have a fairy garden and gnomes. I fantasize about living in it. Julian Koss and I were together for 20 years, until Aug. 26, 2022. I now enjoy two great-grands and still play mah-jongg. Kol b’seder.” Sholom Alexander Banks and wife Ruth ’53, both P’79, P’82, are celebrating 70 years of marriage this year. They have moved to an assisted living facility that’s close to two of their four children. “We remember our Brandeis days fondly,” Sholom writes.
