Jared Del Rosso is the author of “Denial: How We Hide, Ignore, and Explain Away Problems,” published in July 2022 by NYU Press. Jared is an associate professor in the University of Denver’s sociology and criminology department. Joanne Liu is co-founder and CEO of Asian Girls Ignite, a Colorado nonprofit that helps Asian American and Pacific Islander girls and women celebrate their individual and collective power through shared stories. Alissa Nelson is director of family planning programs at Essential Access Health, where she manages Hawaii’s Title X program. Claire Uziel and husband Josh Berner welcomed daughter Avianna Mason in September.
