Jennifer Mandelbaum is a health-care economics consultant at Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group. She also teaches an introductory community-health class at Tufts University, in which she draws on her experience in Brandeis’ Health: Science, Society, and Policy program. Last year, Jennifer received the Rising Star Award from the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors.
