Rosalie Gerut, P’23, is co-founder of One-by-One, which brings together descendants of the Holocaust and the Nazi regime for honest, compassionate dialogue about pain, guilt, war, and genocide. She is currently co-editing a book about this work, “Journeys of Transformation.” Otherine Johnson Neisler — deputy director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Sultan Qaboos University, in Oman — is the editor of “The Palgrave Handbook of Academic Professional Development Centers,” published by Palgrave Macmillan in December. In October, Dale Pollock was inducted into the Shaker Schools Alumni Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Shaker Heights (Ohio) Country Club. Dale is an award-winning journalist, author, film producer, and professor. Ken Sackman, P’02, says his sophomore-year East suitemates enjoyed a mini-reunion in September. Ken, A.J. Carter, and John Inferrera met at Stan Wallerstein’s house in New Hampshire, and Dick Hoffman, Mike Mainiero, and Jeff Marsel beamed in via Zoom. Samuel Silver is an emeritus professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. In March, he represented Brandeis at the inauguration of the new University of Michigan president, Santa J. Ono. Barbara Blank Wolfson reports her son Ross is the assistant director of school counseling (PK-12) for the Waltham public school system. Paul Zlotoff, a member of the Fellows Council and former trustee at Brandeis, oversees the Arnold Zlotoff Tool Museum, in South Hero, Vermont. The museum displays a large collection of antique tools that Paul’s father collected throughout his life. Paul is chair of Uniprop, a Michigan-based real estate and private equity company.
