Jessica Rothbart, GSAS MA’10, Heller MBA’10, is head of human resources at the Juilliard School. Since graduating from Brandeis, Elema Roba Dido, Heller MA’11, has worked in various roles at nongovernmental organizations and government agencies in Kenya, including as area coordinator at USAID-Nawiri Project and county chief officer in the county government of Marsabit. Magdalena Krajewska, GSAS PhD’11, received the Charles and Hazel Corts Award for Excellence in Teaching at North Carolina’s Wingate University, where she is an associate professor of political science. She is the author of “Documenting Americans: A Political History of National ID Card Proposals in the United States” (Cambridge University Press, 2017). Sarah Lupis, GSAS MA’12, PhD’16, has founded PsychoBabble, a company that provides resources for young people as they pursue higher education and the world of work, with a focus on under-represented groups and nontraditional students. Sasha Weinreich, IBS MA’13, served as transition director for the current Massachusetts state auditor, who was elected in November. Sasha is president and director of Cyrus Holding Corporation. Jason Pressberg, GSAS MA’14, Heller MBA’14, is CEO of The Algemeiner, a newspaper that covers the Middle East, Israel, and matters of Jewish interest around the world. Emily Heller, Heller MA’15, is a grant project officer in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Chesapeake Bay Program office in Annapolis, Maryland. Formerly, she was a program analyst in the EPA’s Office of Planning, Analysis, and Accountability. Davis Graham, Rabb MS’16, is a tutor at IMG Academy. He previously worked at a medical software startup. Mark Edney, Heller MBA’17, is public policy chair for the American Urological Association and a senior physician at Chesapeake Urology, in Maryland. Joanna Banegas, Heller MBA/MA’18, married Felix Trede on Martha’s Vineyard in September. She writes, “The wedding was truly magical, and grounded on values of sustainability, community, and love.” Tareq Samman, Heller MBA/MA’18, is dean at Afaak College, in Jerusalem. Akash Kalra, IBS MBA’19, a transfer pricing manager at BDO, was profiled in the International Business Times. Joshua Mellitts, Heller MBA/MA’19, is director of the western Florida and Orlando branches of Jewish National Fund-USA. Bria Price, Heller MPP’19, serves as a member of the alumni board at The College of Wooster, in Ohio. Bria is manager of college success at Achieve Atlanta, a nonprofit that prepares Atlanta public school students to thrive in college.
