Roslyn Laufgraben Bernstein was a runner-up for the Goldberg Prize for Debut Fiction at the National Jewish Book Awards for her novel, “The Girl Who Counted Numbers.” Len Lubinsky is in his seventh year of writing Len’s Political Notes, a website he began in 2017 to pinpoint Democratic candidates for whom donations could prove the difference between winning and losing. “I have nearly 1,000 readers — not a huge number, but enough to feel I am making a difference,” he reports.
