Peter Gould, GSAS MA’00, PhD’02, is teaching the class Inner Peace, Outer Peace in Brandeis’ Peace, Conflict, and Coexistence Studies program for the 15th year; still runs his Shakespeare camps; and is the author of a memoir, “Horse-Drawn Yogurt.” In November, Ralph Propper was named Environmentalist of the Year by the Environmental Council of Sacramento, California. Ralph chairs the group’s climate change committee. Sandra Sherman received the 2022 Gradiva Award for Best Book — Historic Moment of Reflection from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis for “Through a Screen Darkly: Psychoanalytic Reflections During the Pandemic” (Routledge, 2021), which she co-wrote with Ahron Friedberg, a Manhattan psychiatrist. This is her fourth book with Friedberg; they are working on a fifth. Sandra is a director of ChildsPlay International, a nonprofit that helps vulnerable children realize the benefits of play.
