Meet the Alumni
Victoria Sharaga '20
Victoria Sharaga (she/her/hers) graduated from Brandeis in 2020 with degrees in Education Studies andLinguistics. She graduated from Boston University with an MS in Speech-Language Pathology. She now works as a Clinical Fellow at Boston Children’s in Waltham within their Speech-Language Pathology and Voice and Velopharyngeal Dysfunction programs. She says that her current career path blends my passions for working with children and for language.
Victoria says she draws on the knowledge she gained through the Brandeis Education Program, such as when making recommendations for direct services and classroom accommodations to support children's access to the curriculum, counseling parents on the process of obtaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and communicating with special education providers.
Luca Swinford '22
Luca Swinford (he/him) graduated from Brandeis in 2022 with a degree in Education Studies. He is now pursuing a Masters degree in Public Policy at the Heller School at Brandeis. He has been a research assistant at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy.
Luca has also been a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) fellow at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. He says it has been great to build on my knowledge and skills from Education Studies at Brandeis in the policy field.
