Barbara Raisner reports she enjoys her three great-grandchildren, the oldest of whom is in kindergarten, and poses a question: “Don’t you wish Louis Brandeis were still on the Supreme Court?” Lois (Spiro) Robblee writes, “No major news, just reporting in to say I’m healthy and leading an active life. I am a nearly 19-year resident at Brooksby Village, in Peabody, Massachusetts. My sister and I took a seven-week road trip in summer 2017 to the Canadian Rockies and back, visiting relatives in Alberta and Montana, and seeing the total solar eclipse in Casper, Wyoming. I make custom stained-glass panels as well as pottery and stained-glass sun catchers. I also edit manuscripts before they are submitted to scientific journals.” Alfred Zadig writes, “Having flunked retirement eight times, I just finished my first year as the parish priest of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Warwick, Rhode Island, about 20 miles from my home in West Kingston.” The assignment, he says, is “a joy.”
