Hi, all! Looking forward to seeing you at our 30th Reunion — I’ve missed you since the 25th. We have many great events planned.

She works at biotechnology startup Partner Therapeutics, which develops cancer treatment therapies. She is president of the Sisterhood of Temple Isaiah, the synagogue at which Jacob’s bar mitzvah was celebrated. Robert Bernstone is a managing director at Credit Suisse. He lives in Manhasset, New York, with wife Caryn and sons Jesse, 17, and Pearce, 14. Ilene Freier Brookler co-founded DPI Training Services, which offers online training programs tailored for religiously observant communities in New York, to comply with new laws for sexual harassment prevention. Michelle (Davis) Cohen is director of human resources at a real estate tax-appeal law firm and this spring will be installed for the second time as an executive officer on the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators board of trustees. She is excited to be working with college roommate Michelle Fiddler on the Friday, May 31, kickoff party for the 30th Reunion. April Goldberg, P’23, reports her daughter, Rina ’23, was accepted to Brandeis as an Early Decision applicant. April is the founder of Purr-fect Cats Feline Rescue in New York City. Sara Joseph, P’22, enjoys being a member of the Brandeis University Alumni Admissions Council, through which she interviews prospective students and shares her enthusiasm for Brandeis. Abbe Krieger went on a pilgrimage with Bob Thurman, professor of Indo-Tibetan studies at Columbia University (and father of actress Uma Thurman), to the Tibet House in Bhutan. Shari Lurie has left her full-time position at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and now works part time as an attending anesthesiologist at Eastern Massachusetts Surgical Center and at Franklin Pain and Wellness Center. She returns to Sturdy Memorial’s pain management center twice a month to do procedures. “It has been a very nice lifestyle change,” she writes. Michele Shoueka Perlstein is enjoying a new career as a solopreneur. She’s a freelance grant writer, combining her legal writing skills with her experience in working with nonprofits. Fran Genn Saperstein is chief operating officer at husband David’s newly opened practice, the Center for Complex Neurology, EDS and POTS, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The practice provides expert diagnosis and treatment of ALS, CIDP, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, POTS and other dysautonomias. Amy (Weinstein) Utstein lives in Muir Beach, California, with husband Steve and daughter Maud, 17. The director of administration for the Berkeley Law Clinical Program, Amy is looking forward to going to reunion with her best friend from college, Johnna Schmidt.
