65th Reunion
May 31-June 2, 2019

Though Elliot Aronson is enjoying retirement as professor emeritus of psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, he continues to write. In collaboration with his son Joshua, he completed the 12th edition of “The Social Animal,” his classic textbook first published in 1972; it’s the oldest textbook in continuous use in the history of social psychology. Elliot and his wife, Vera (Rabinek), celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Jeanette and Ike Goodman, who have been married 62 years, write, “We survived the California wildfires. Living at the northern edge of Silicon Valley has its good and not-so-good points. Although the salaries in the tech industries are attractive, the costs of rents are very high, and the traffic dense. But there is much to like in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially for those who purchased homes when prices were a lot less expensive.”
