Linda Cohen-Maurice is head of the Lifelong Learning Institute at Nova Southeastern University; her newly expanded title is director of community education and lifelong learning. Daughter Meira, 26, is a tattoo artist in Savannah, Georgia. Son Arik, 24, will graduate from the University of Florida and begin work at GE Aviation. Daughter Sarina, 19, is a sophomore at Barnard College/Jewish Theological Seminary, studying biology and Jewish ethics. Heidi Daitch is chief strategy officer at EZShield + IdentityForce, a digital identity-theft protection company. Alice Julier is director of food studies at Pennsylvania’s Chatham University, where she is an associate professor. She founded and directs the university’s Center for Regional Agriculture, Food and Transformation, and co-edited “Food and Culture: A Reader,” Fourth Ed., published by Routledge Press. She writes, “Zack Rubinstein ’83 and I live in Pittsburgh with a bunch of dogs and cats, and occasionally our daughters, Esme and Zoe, who are off to college and beyond.” Rabbi Susan Miller Rheins, of Temple Sinai in Denver, delivered the benediction at the inauguration of Colorado’s governor, Jared Polis, in January.
