Kimberly Cohen and Adam Marks of West Hartford, Connecticut, welcomed son Mason Samuel on Jan. 4. Andrew Davies received the Young Pioneers Award from the Jewish Education Project for his work leading the Bible Players, an educational Jewish comedy team, and CharacTours, interactive theatrical tours in New York City. Andrew lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Molly Wernick, and their dog, Ducky. Justin Drake and Thomas Bertorelli, PhD’21, were married in October in Walpole, Massachusetts, cheered by many Brandeis friends. Thomas is pursuing a PhD in sociology. Gregory Freedman joined Goldberg Segalla as special counsel to the law firm’s general liability practice group in Garden City, New York. He was previously with National General Insurance in New York. Alex Goldstein is CEO of 90 West, the strategic communications firm he founded in 2016. He was senior adviser and spokesman in the election campaign of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, the first woman of color to represent Massachusetts in the U.S. Congress. After 11 years at NBC, Ian Sager is vice president of content and social at “The Dr. Oz Show,” managing the show’s website and social media accounts. His wife, Tara (Strauss), is a clinical psychologist in the counseling center at Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she coordinates its graduate training program. Ian and Tara are parents to sons Liam, 5, and Jesse, 3. The family lives in Bergen County.
