James Ansorge was named to City & State magazine’s New York City 40 Under 40 Rising Stars for 2018. James is counsel at the law firm Cozen O’Conner. In December, he and his wife welcomed their first child, Oliver Hoy. Ana Apter and her husband, Adam, celebrated the arrival of their first daughter, Abigail Shoshannah, on Sept. 26. The welcoming committee included brothers Ariel, Avraham and Asher. Ana is assistant principal at Chain Lake Elementary School, in Monroe, Washington. Daniil Boldyrev married Laura Myers on Oct. 20 in Brookline, Massachusetts. Those in attendance included Brett Wu ’08 and groomsman Ben Pernick. Dan, who was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps last year, works as a quality-assurance engineer at Barton Associates, a locum tenens health-care staffing and recruiting firm. Ashley (Sauerhof) Jaffe and husband Samuel welcomed their son, Ryan Stone, into the world on Oct. 8. Benjamin Luxenberg married his wife, Nina, in June 2018. The couple lives in Philadelphia, where Benjamin works in infrastructure consulting. Olivia Mell released an original rock album, “Between Earth and Air,” under her professional name, Olivia Jane. She also helms a production company, Capture 10 Productions, through which she has released three music videos. Olivia is a marketing coordinator at MemBrain, a strategic brand partnership company in the entertainment industry, and will pursue an MBA at Columbia Business School beginning in the fall. Aaron Rosenberg was married in Raymond, Maine, on Sept. 2.

SPOT ON: Alumni who work at HubSpot, a Cambridge, Massachusetts, developer of software products for inbound marketing and sales, enjoyed a Brandeis at Work event hosted by the Hiatt Career Center and the Alumni Association (with help from Sam Shoolman ’09 and Flora Wang ’15). Brandeis at Work events facilitate alumni networking, develop pipelines for talent recruitment and expand corporate-partnership opportunities.
