May 2024 Degree

MA paper is completed on the first day of final exams.

Deadline Description
Tuesday, February 6 Deadline to file "Master's Paper Plans" with the department [provisional paper title, short description, and the names of your two readers]
Friday, March 1 Deadline to file the registrar's application for a master's degree
Monday, March 4 First full draft of master's paper is due to one or both readers
Wednesday, March 27 Faculty comments on master's papers due to degree candidates
Friday, May 3

Final, revised version of master's paper due to both readers. Late papers may impact ability to graduate in May. This is First Day of Final Exams.

August 2024 Degree

Subject to reader availability; work is completed in early August.

Friday, June 7 Deadline to file "Master's Paper Plans" with the department [provisional paper title, short description, and the names of your two readers]
Friday, June 21 Deadline to file the registrar's application for a master's degree
Monday, July 8 First full draft of master's paper is due to one or both readers
Monday, July 22 Faculty comments on master's papers due to degree candidates
Friday, August 9

Final, revised version of master's paper due to both readers. August degrees are conferred on Aug. 31.
