Alena Lokhmanenko
Alena Lokhmanenko

Alena is a second-year Psychology MA student in GSAS. She received her BA in Neuroscience from Wellesley College. Her research interests lie in cognitive neuropsychology, especially memory, language and attention. Alena is originally from Belarus and is interested in Belarusian history and culture. In her free time, she likes to go on hikes and to the beach in summer, and stay at home and read books in winter.

Anoshka Lade

Anoshka is pursuing a Masters of Science in Finance at Brandeis International Business School. Hailing from Mumbai, India. She is also the Communication Officer of the Business School Student Association (IBSSA), fostering student engagement. Devoted to community service, she has volunteered to teach underprivileged children in Mumbai and contributed to a college mental health awareness group. Beyond academics and service, she thrives on connecting with people. Whether through poetry, movies, or exploring new places and cuisines, she embraces life with enthusiasm.

Mercy Afreh

Mercy is a graduate student in the Sustainable International Development program at the Heller School. She holds MPhil in Human Resource Management and a BA in Information Studies from the University of Ghana. Prior to Heller, she worked as an assistant lecturer and a program coordinator at Academic City University College. Mercy is a strong advocate of sustainable livelihood empowerment for women and youth and has volunteered as a youth coach and a mentor to teenagers in her community. She is adept at identifying and addressing students’ issues and challenges. In her leisure time, she reads novels, listens to music and health talks, and watches documentaries and movies based on real-life stories. She looks forward to supporting graduate students to access the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.

Juliet Owusu

Juliet is Ghanaian, and enrolled in Heller’s Sustainable International Development program. She holds a BA In Political Science from the University of Ghana. She enjoys reading, teaching, engaging in physical activities and going sightseeing. She’s excited to be the GAP Advisor working with Athletics and is excited to help graduate students find out more about all that Athletics has to offer!
