GSAS Alums
Alum Resources
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences boasts a network of more than 10,000 alums around the world. All of our alums are entitled to the benefits and services offered by the Brandeis University Alumni Association (BUAA), including Brandeis Magazine, Brandeis Email, BConnect, Library Resources, Brandeis Travelers, and much more.
GSAS is represented on the BUAA Board of Directors by Chari Smith PhD '88. Other GSAS alums on the Board are Joan Feinberg Berns MA '71 PhD '74 (Member-at-Large), Roy L. DeBerry Jr. MA '78 PhD '79 (Member-at-Large), and Helen Stewart PhD '80 (Alumni Admission Council Representative). Ariel Meave-Ohrt MA '13 is Co-President of the Alumni Club of Northern California, and Ariella S. Raviv MA' 19 is President of the Alumni Club of Israel.
Our school has graduated notable alums across many fields, including television, music, theater, publishing, business, politics, academia and scientific research. If you are interested in engaging with our amazing alum community, here are a few good places to start:

Reconnecting with GSAS
Reconnecting with alums is one of Dean Golden’s priorities for GSAS over the next few years. If you have a suggestion or recommendation for programming you would like to see, please reach out to Abigail Arnold. Please also feel free to submit an item to the GSAS Alum Newsletter to let us know your recent news.
Support Our Efforts to Increase Career Diversity
Graduate education has never been sought in so many venues as it is today. We are always seeking alums with interesting or unusual career paths to serve as models for our students. If you are interested in connecting with our current students to discuss your career path or serve as a mentor, please contact Marika McCann, Associate Director, Professional Development and Employer Outreach. You may also sign up to indicate your willingness to hear from current students.
