GSAS Welcomes New Class

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences welcomed 72 PhD students, 154 master’s students, and 37 post baccalaureate students in August, for a total of 263 new graduate students. The new students come from 26 states and 27 countries. They participated in orientation programs with their academic departments, and the GSAS staff visited them with welcome bags that contained candy and other goodies! The Office of Graduate Affairs hosted an orientation for all graduate students on August 19 that included a reception from the Graduate Student Association.
