Brandeis Graduate Students Now Have Access to the Professional Development and Dissertation Writing Tools Through NCFDD
If you find yourself struggling with time management, setting priorities and making steady progress on your dissertation—you are not alone. All graduate students, and all former graduate students who have become faculty, face these challenges. In order to provide direct support to our faculty, graduate students and staff, Brandeis University has joined the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity, a nationally recognized, independent organization providing online career development and mentoring resources. This subscription grants access to all faculty, academic staff, postdocs and graduate students to a variety of tools to increase research and writing productivity and improve work-life balance.
Of particular interest to graduate students will be the 14-Day Writing Challenge each semester; the Dissertation Success Curriculum for advanced graduate students; the weekly Monday Motivator (weekly productivity email); Monthly Core Curriculum Webinars; and Monthly Guest Expert and Multi-Week Course Trainings;
