Aminata is a feminist and a gender and development expert with extensive experience in advocacy, leadership, research, and community mobilization. She has over eight years of experience in gender equality, health, and education advocacy. Ms. Jaiteh had her first Master’s degree in Gender and Development from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, awarded through the prestigious UK Government Chevening Scholarship for global leaders in 2023. She is currently pursuing an Ms Global Health Policy and Management at the Heller School of Social Policy and Management.Aminata loves eating, engaging in meaningful conversations and supporting her community.
Her key responsibilities include assisting the program specialist in advising Waltham Group (WG) House Representatives in mentoring, communication, event planning management, and training. She also coordinates the Community Engaged Leadership Series (CELS) for new Waltham Group Coordinators in Training (CITs), including updating the training curriculum, creating community-building opportunities for the CIT cohort, and assessing the program and the CIT’s ability to lead their programs.
