Kids Connection sends Brandeis volunteers to local non-profit organizations that work with youth. Currently, Brandeis students volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA afterschool program at Stanley Elementary, and the Prospect Hill Community Center Teen Program. The Boys and Girls Club serves youth ages 6-18 and aims to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential. The YMCA afterschool program at Stanley Elementary provides a safe and supervised environment for recreation, socialization and education for children from kindergarten to fifth grade. At the Prospect Hill Community Center Teen Program, our volunteers can mentor or tutor teens in middle and high school. Volunteers run and assist with programs such as arts & crafts, science experiments, sports and more!

Our mission as Kids Connection is to provide kids in the Waltham Community the opportunities to experience safe, constructive, inclusive communities by creating environments where they can play, learn, have fun, and express themselves. We look to do hands-on-work to build student relationships between both our volunteers and their own peers. We look to do this by training our volunteers in the areas that will most effectively impact the students we work with.
