Our final event in the Fall Into Innovation series is 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, featuring two Brandeis alumni: Dan Scheinman BA ‘84 and Bozhanka Vitanova, MA ‘16. Dan is an early-stage investor in transformational technology and was one of the first investors in Zoom. Bozhanka is founder and CEO of the VC-funded company TeamLift that provides AI support to help employees effectively manage meeting notes for better follow-on efficiency. Dan Scheinman (Brandeis ‘84) is an angel investor based in the Bay Area. Dan invests in transformational enterprise technology companies. Dan began investing his own capital in 2011. Dan was the first check into Zoom (ZM), and continues on the Board to this day. Dan was also early in Arista Networks (ANET), Treasure Data (acquired by ARM) and many others. SentinelOne is now a public company with a market cap of more than $17 billion. Prior to investing, Dan had an 18 year career at Cisco Systems, where he ran Corporate Development, started an internal start up, and was General Counsel. In addition to his degree from Brandeis, Dan has a JD from Duke University.

Bozhanka Vitanova, MA '16 is the founder of TeamLift. She is an alum of the Brandeis International Business School, with a Masters degree in International Economics and Finance, where she earned the Class of 2016 Prize for Excellence in Economics. Bozhanka attended Brandeis IBS as a Fulbright scholar, where she conducted research on identifying factors that influence early stage social enterprise success. Prior to joining Brandeis, Bozhanka co-founded Yunus & Youth, an international organization endorsed by Nobel Peace Laureate Muhammad Yunus. The organization now works with young social entrepreneurs in 34 countries and has supported the establishment of 65 pioneering social enterprises.
