Karen Wong is the Program Specialist for Community Engagement and Leadership. Karen is the advisor for student service clubs on campus, including the Waltham Group and its 20 service programs. She provides leadership development, logistical support, and student and volunteer training. Additionally, Karen coordinates events such as VolunteerFest and works closely with campus and community partners to create inclusive and impactful community programs.
Karen attended Simmons University for her B.S. degree in Mathematics and M.A.T. degree in Secondary Education and Special Education. She worked as a Math, Science, and Special Education teacher as well as a Software Engineer. Outside of work, Karen enjoys photography, exploring new restaurants, traveling, watching tv shows, and building LEGO sets with family and friends.
