The Lemberg Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance is the school's founding program. It is offered for students worldwide with previous coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics and statistics. The MA program is two years in length and requires 64 credits over four semesters. The Accelerated MA program is offered to students who are scheduled to complete (or have completed) a bachelor's degree in business or economics at a U.S. college or university. The program provides candidates with the opportunity to earn a master's degree in 12 or 16 months of study. Learn more.
The International Business School BA/MA is offered to undergraduates at Brandeis University and Wellesley College. The program enables students to complete a Master of Arts in international economics and finance in just one additional year after completing their bachelor's degree Brandeis students may apply beginning in their sophomore year and Wellesley students apply in their junior year. The MSBA/MA dual degree is an intensive program that requires 77 credits over four to five semesters. Students who enroll in the dual degree when admitted to the business school or add the second degree within the first year of their first program are able to complete both degrees with a combined 77 credits, instead of the 105 credits required to earn each degree independently. Students may pursue the MA program on a part-time basis. Part-time students typically complete eight credits per semester. The part-time status is optimal for students who have flexible schedules as courses are held throughout the day. Students can finish the part-time MA program in 3-4 years and the part-time Accelerated MA program in 2-3 years (taking 4-5 classes a year).
