The Women Around Louis Brandeis

Undergraduate / Graduate Student Project

Project Information

Brandeis University Professor Emerita Joyce Antler is carrying out a new project about the women in Louis Brandeis' family who deeply influenced his education, interests, and ideas. Brandeis' mother, sister, wife, sisters-in-law, daughters and nieces played a remarkable but unheralded role in the Justice's development and achievements. The selected intern will assist with archival research at the Brandeis University Archives, and possibly also online and at the Schlesinger Library at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute. The intern may also help to develop themes and research ideas.
