The Shapiro Theater is the home of the Undergraduate Theatre Collective (UTC). Located in the Shapiro Campus Center (SCC), the 248-seat theater with professional soundboard, lightboard, and audiovisual equipment, is managed by the Department of Student Engagement.

With at least five student theater productions a semester and other special events, the Shapiro Theater is in continual use. Stop by to see this semester's hit shows, concerts, and more. Most performances are free to Brandeis students.

The Shapiro Theater was originally built as the home of the Undergraduate Theatre Collective (UTC), and, as such, UTC productions are given the first option on reserving space. Other recognized student organizations can request to reserve the Shapiro Theater using the SCC Space Request form, with priority given to student performance organizations. Whenever possible, DSE will facilitate scheduling to accommodate as many performances as possible by as many recognized student organizations as possible.

For more information about using the Shapiro Campus Center, please visit the SCC home page.
