Arnon Shorr, a Brandeis alum, is a writer/director of character-driven adventures and thrillers. In 2017, Arnon made a short film about Jewish pirates “the Pirate Captain Toledano” that has since been adapted as a graphic novel (due in bookstores May 2022).

Iddo Gefen is an Israeli born writer. His first book, Jerusalem’s Beach, was published in the summer of 2017 to resounding reviews. Iddo works in neurocognitive research exploring how storytelling can improve our understanding of the human mind.

Noa Barankin is an Israeli performing artist.She created "DrumatiX", a rhythm based dance company where participants explore making different rhythms and beats through percussion. Noa is an Assistant Professor of Tap Dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Michal Ben-Josef Hirsch is a professor in politics at Brandeis. Her research includes international relations theory with a focus on the role of norms and ideas, transitional and historical justice and the contested narrative of the conflict in Israel/Palestine.
