Mentorship Program
At the heart of Brandeis Innovation’s programs are relationships. One of the most critical types of relationships we facilitate is mentorship to all our teams and participants. Mentors meet with teams participating in our programs, offering advice, connecting them with resources, and providing insights into their specific industries. Through mentorship, teams become familiar with the startup process from those who have journeyed on the entrepreneurial path themselves. The support, connections, and networking opportunities provided by our mentorship program are one of the main reasons to engage with the virtual incubator.
Be A Mentor
Brandeis Innovation’s programs depend on strong mentorship from experienced professionals in a wide range of industries. If you would like to support the next generation of entrepreneurs with your insights, be a sounding board, and provide the invaluable gift of your experience, consider becoming a Brandeis Innovation mentor. You do not need to be a Brandeis alum; however, alumni are strongly encouraged to apply. Industries and backgrounds from which we are currently seeking mentors include:

- Fintech
- Social impact
- Consumer goods
- Product development
- Business development
If your field is something different, you may still be matched with a team, depending on each year’s participants.

Get Mentorship
When you participate in a Brandeis Innovation program, you get the benefit of our extensive network of industry professionals who can support you every step of the way. You will be matched with mentors in your target sector, who have been successful in specific fields related to your project, providing you with insights on how to succeed in the field. Through mentorship, you’ll gain insight into what works, learn about pitfalls to avoid, and, most importantly, have a potential ally in your project’s growth.
