I-Corps Demo Day

Brandeis students, faculty and staff who participated in our National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program will be showcasing their accomplishments. I-Corps participants work on significant bench research with the potential to improve human lives, learning how to take an idea from the lab to production. Join us to learn about the progress of their research from concept to commercializable invention.

SPROUT Info Sessions:
Two Opportunities for Your Convenience
January 24 and February 1, 3pm-4pm

If you are interested in the SPROUT program, which offers funding for bench research, this is the opportunity for you to learn more on how to apply. Get your questions answered by the program's administrators. There will be two separate information sessions for your convenience: January 24 at Carl J. Shapiro Science Center Library and February 1 at Volen 201. Light refreshments will be served.

SPARKTank
February 4, 8:30am-3pm
Lee Hall, Brandeis International Business School

Join us to witness Brandeis teams, aiming to make a difference in the world through entrepreneurship, compete in our 4th SPARKTank competition for up to $5000 in awards. The teams will be presenting their innovative ideas in high-tech, social enterprise, business-to-business, and consumer products to a group of judges. The event is free and refreshments will be served.

How to Market Your Startup & Get More Customers
February 7, 5pm-7pm

How do you reach your customers to grow your business? What is a strong brand, and how does it help your startup stand out, reach the right customers, and communicate your value? In this hands-on session, you will learn how to establish your brand, market on a shoestring, and accelerate your startup's growth. Participants will leave with a branding statement and a set of free resources to market their startups.

Accelerating Women's Careers

SPROUT Bootcamp

Mass Innovation Nights
March 14, 6pm-8pm

Mass Innovation Nights are one of the most established and respected monthly startup events in Boston. This groundbreaking event will feature entrepreneurial innovations born in Brandeis classrooms, dorms, and labs. Join us to meet the teams behind each project and network with experts and alumni.

3DS: 3-Day Startup
March 23-25

The 7th Annual 3-Day Startup (3DS) which will be hosted the 4th weekend of March, aims to encourage and establish entrepreneurship labs in universities by bringing together students of various backgrounds and in all academic years from freshmen to PhD candidates. Participants will create a startup in 200 hours and gain experience in cross-disciplinary collaboration, brainstorming, and ideation.

Printathon

This 24-hour event will challenge participants to use their creativity to build innovations using 3D printers. There will be a team competition which will be judged by a panel of industry leaders and technology professionals. Stay tuned for more information!
