Brandeis Spring 2023 Update
Another Spring semester has come to an end, and Brandeis innovators are off on their summer adventures. Whether you are traveling around the globe or staying close to your lab, we are here for you this summer sharing funding opportunities, innovation inspiration, and resources for technology licensing. And we will see you in the Fall with the Spark program, workshops, and special programming for Brandeis’ 75th anniversary. In the meantime, here is a look back at the highlights of the 2023 Spring semester at Brandeis Innovation:
Brandeis Innovation's ninth annual SparkTank competition broke the mold this year. With a new format and new energy, the event brought together top student innovators, faculty, staff, and industry experts in a showcase of the best student-led ideas at Brandeis.
Becoming more entrepreneurial is a journey filled with creativity, innovation, and the drive to bring impactful ideas to life. Aspiring entrepreneurs must immerse themselves in environments that foster growth, learning, and networking. One such environment is the MassChallenge accelerator in Boston, renowned for its support and resources for startups. Our Spark participants took a tour of MassChallenge this spring, gaining an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
Each month, we update our curated list of funding opportunities that we identify as potentially interesting to our community. These opportunities range from pitch events to grants, and represent industries from biotech to the arts. Special opportunities for women, BIPOC, and other under-represented founders are typically highlighted, as are programs supporting bench research. You can check out the programs below.
