Brandeis Innovation Center Launches New Page Detailing Software and Tools from Brandeis for Licensing and Community Access

We are excited to announce the launch of the Brandeis Innovation Center's Software and Tools Available, showcasing innovative software solutions developed by Brandeis researchers. This platform offers industry partners, educators, individuals and organizations access to tools designed to drive impact across various sectors.

Among the featured technologies:

  • RC Survey™: A validated instrument that assesses relational coordination within organizations. RC Survey™ helps improve teamwork, communication, and performance across leadership and operational teams, making it valuable across industries from healthcare to corporate management.

  • BOCA (Brandeis Online Class Analytics): Developed by a cross-disciplinary team of professors and students at Brandeis University, BOCA is a set of modules and tools to analyze speech patterns in online synchronous discussions. It can give faculty teaching on Zoom data on student participation patterns, creating a fairer, more dynamic classroom.

  • GlycoDeNovo: An efficient algorithm for Glycan Topology Reconstruction from Tandem Mass Spectras without relying on glycan databases, enabling rapid and statistically supported identification of glycan topologies.

This page offers opportunities ranging from direct access and free end-user licenses to commercial licensing with reasonable terms, enabling various organizations and individuals to leverage our cutting-edge innovations.

From Spark to Spotlight: InBite Represents Brandeis at Northeastern’s Pitch-a-Thon

Last month, InBite, a Spark start-up team at Brandeis, took the stage at the Pitch-a-Thon, an intercollegiate pitch competition hosted by Northeastern University’s IDEA. The event brought together universities across the Greater Boston Area—showcasing the value of innovation, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving from top undergraduate founders. Ten schools participated, namely: Northeastern University, Babson College, ​Harvard University, ​Boston University, ​Hult International Business School, Wesleyan University, ​Bentley University, ​Brandeis University, Boston College, and ​Rutgers University.

Virtual Information Session: New England I-Corps Spark Program.

We encourage Brandeis researchers and innovators interested in advancing their entrepreneurial journey to participate in the I-Corps program through the MIT's Spark initiative. MIT Spark provides exceptional resources, mentoring, and funding opportunities to support groundbreaking research and commercialization efforts. For researchers interested in commercializing their new technology, this info session will help you:

  • Learn what I-Corps is all about and what to expect in the program

  • Explore the benefits of participating in our I-Corps short course

  • What will the next steps be toward a potential $2MM in non-dilutive funding support
