The fourth annual Brandeis Innovation Showcase on November 15th was a success. The event welcomed over 150 attendees to see posters and pitches by Brandeis University's newest crops of innovators. The innovations varied from a recycling method of plastic lab waste to a platform to engage women in STEM, which reflect the community's diversity of interests and expertise. The audience also had a chance to vote for their favorite innovations and the three winners were GreenLabs, Nomad Dairy, and TRIBE. Congratulations!

Brandeis Launches Fintech Concentration

To help students prepare for shifting workforce demands in finance, Brandeis International Business School is launching one of the first full-time FinTech programs in the United States.
Beginning in the fall of 2019, the new  FinTech concentration  at Brandeis IBS will be available to students participating in the  Master of Science in Finance (MSF)  program.
The MSF program is a STEM-designated, 18-month graduate program with a rigorous, quantitative focus in finance. The FinTech concentration will blend quantitative applications in financial analytics that are grounded in financial theory, state-of-the-art coding capabilities, and experiential field projects with financial technology startups in partnership with the newly-created  MassChallenge FinTech  accelerator.
